Mix Master Moody (DJ / Producer / Remixer) and more than 10 years behind the decks... He startet spinning records when he was 14. Influced by Artist..s like Bad Boy Bill, DJ Bam Bam, Josh the Funky 1 and Alex Peace he created his own style of Jackin.. Chicago House Muzik. Moody blends a unique style of funky house, tech-house and raw beats incorporating ill - scratching and turntable tricks. This style is very uplifting and represents his DJ Skillz. In 2001 Moody has won a DJ Contest, which was organized by the Magazin Intro. He was under the first places and played in Germany at the big open air festival Nature One with 40000 people. From time to time he plays at HexenHouse, a legendary Club in Germany,and in his Resident Club Housekeeper. As a producer he has teamed up with his best friend Filtered Phunk to produce some records. In 2005, Plasmapool Recordings (Houserecordings) has singned them and released their first Vinyl. The first record Filtered Phunk & Mix Master Moody - Phunkin.. (swiss dance charts / place..13) (TrackItDown Top 100 Summer Sales Charts / place ..10) was succesful and sold out. In 2006 they were signed by "Direct Drive Digital Records in Chicago. The first release on DDD, which is called " what is house" sold very well at Beatport and other digital download stores.
