24. Black. Female. Christian. Liberal. I adore rock music (punk, classic, metal, goth, hardcore, industrial) and ebm. I'm not a huge fan of rap/hip hop but listen to certain artists. I adore Politics and will argue for hours about it. I also adore anything Speculative (horror, SF, fantasy), particularly fiction. I will read almost anything. So in summary: I'm mostly a book reading, SF watching, political loving geek. I'm also starting to get back into biology which is becoming a secret hobby of mine.My name (sleeperphiles) comes from my first internet SN, which was Sleepwalker01, which I got from my favorite book and the fact that I used to go days without sleeping. It has since morphed several times with Dasleepy1, sleepychile, Sleepwalker and even Sleep being some versions of it. Phile comes from the name X-File die-hards call themselves. Although it's been awhile since I was an X-File die-hard fan, I still have love for the show.Let's see. I'm a writer and as of recent a poet and spoken word artist (though I'm still terrified of speaking in front of people). Most of my writing falls under fantasy, dark fantasy, or horror with some SF mixed in. Most of my spoken word and written poetry is very politically based though.I am a Christian. I am a liberal Christian that thinks that social justice is very important and that helping one's community is something Jesus stressed.
