I created my layout at KillerKiwi.net .. KALIDOSCOPIO is a high-end crochet accessories line. All of our products are hand crocheted, cut, punched, and stitched. We specialize in everyday classic designs that are sophisticated yet unique. Only fine quality yarns and leathers are used to make KALIDOSCOPIO products.Based in New York, the designer, Kayo Shibayama, is from Japan and grew up in a creative environment. Her father is a shoe designer, who instilled the importance of coming up with her own designs at an early age. Kayo's mother has always been a fashion inspiration, Not only did she introduce 60's or 70's vintage fashion, but she taught Kayo how to sew when she was seven. Shortly after that, Kayo started reworking on clothings and making dresses and accessories. In high school, she majored in Interior design.It was when she came to NY that the inspiration to create designer crochet wear started. It started with hats and tops. at one of the first businesses that carried her pieces was "the good the bad & the ugly" in SOHO. There her customers include grammy winning rapper, singer, actress, and musician EVE. Since then KALIDOSCOPIO has made itself available at places such as Union, SSUR plus, Otto tootsi plohound, plum, Hanna Clark, and Lolli by reincarnation. The variety of these stores covers street wear, high-end shoe, swim wear, jewelry, vintage, and fashion speciality boutiques.For the Mira Design company, Kayo has experienced in designs that were manufactured and presented at ENK accessories Circuit. The following year she gained a lot of support from Lolli by reincarnation. The owners allowed Kayo to have weekly trunk shows in the store with a customer friendly set up that included a wonderful display area. it was here where she learned the importance of customizing. Together with her input and the customer's request, Kayo was able to create pieces that were enormously well received. She steadily gained a large fan base.
