Julia Gámez Martin was born 1986 in Berlin. She is the daughter of a spanish Father and a german Mother and so she grew up in a multicultural Family. She started singin at the age of 7 as a part of the "Berliner Konzert Chor" . There she had her first stage adventures in the Philhamonie and she liked it so much that she decided to be a proffessional singer in the future and to have the stage as her home. At the age of 10 she saw her first musical in Berlin and she was so impressed that she wanted to be a part of it. So she wrote a letter to the Cast to ask if theres any role she can play in this musical. Unexpectedly they wrote back to her. They wrote that there is unfortunately no child..s part in that play, but that she can - when she..s grown up - study Musicaltheatre in several Universitys. So she waited till she got her examination, while she took part in a lot of projects like the musical group in her school, some bands and recording sessions with different artists. During her examinations in School 2006 she applied for an university place at different universitys in whole Germany. Luckily she convinced the board of examiners at the "University of Performing Arts Berlin" so that she was able to stay in her Hometown Berlin to study what she liked the most. And so she still does... During her studies she plays in a few bands and takes part in a lot of projects with different Musicians like Marius Timmermanns, Andreas Schmidt, Carlo Kretzschmar, Marian Lux etc. She is open minded for any style of music and always searching for a new challenge.
