A Sad State of Affairs

About Me

A Sad State of Affairs is a tried and true punk rock band out of Grand Haven, Michigan. We write songs that pay homage to the music that inspired us to be interested in music in the first place. We're not trying to re-invent the wheel with our music. We're not trying to be revolutionary. We're four guys motivated to play fun music. Our only goals with this band are to have fun, have a few laughs, and a few more beers.

We’re not dead yet.....not even close.

So, as many of you know, A.S.S.O.A. went through a rough patch for about a month or so.  Ben was abducted by aliens, got brainwashed and anal probed, came back to Earth, and quit the fucking band...

We wrapped up the recording of the e.p. today.  It's seriously about time!  We'll get the album art out the print pretty soon, as well as the cd's themselves.  We're not really trying t...

The new e.p. defined, as well as other updates.

What's the word, ya'll?  A.S.S.O.A. has been pretty busy lately. With trying to wrap up recording on the "To Bring You Back Home" e.p., attending summer classes, writing new music, working, prepp...

This one is going to be the most aggressive of our releases...hence the cover.  P.S.No pun intended regarding the massacre at Virginia Tech.
