About Me

I'm overly friendly, optimistic but realistic, agnostic, but don't begrudge other people's need for religion any more than I would begrudge a paraplegic access to a wheelchair. I love pork, music, kissing and flirting. I fall in love easily but still need my space... I'm not on My Space to fall in love.. I'm aware that the brain chemistry for someone in love is identical to one with OCD so I'd prefer to hang a bit and explore people before committing. I can be who you want me to be but I'd rather be myself.. if only I could figure out who myself is. I prefer you be yourself too and let the chips fall where they should without histrionics, hebephrenia, coercion, shaming or bribery. I talk too much, and listen too closely. I'd like to listen to you, talk about life and see how much we have in common. Sometimes my head starts thinking and I can't stop my mouth from following and going into gear, so forgive a few outbursts. I'm learning about the me who is me and picking up the pieces of yet another mess I've gotten myself into. I'm trying to teach my children what it means to be themselves, and not to worry about how someone else might think will make them perfect. I'm succeeding in ways my parents failed and that makes me feel great that I've successfully raised 2 WONDERFUL human beings, and the third is proving to excel in fabulous human relations also. I'm also trying to ponder what you're pondering, even if we both know Regis Philbin is already married and the monkey won't wear the Lederhosen. I'm Really Good at being spontaneous (given enough time to prepare, of course), Avoiding confrontation, taking over the situation if no one steps up to the plate, Cooking, Remembering symptoms of random diseases and what drugs go with which medical disorder, being pushy and feeling unsure simultaneously, filling the candy jar, feeding people and making people uneasy with my straightforwardness. I'm good at asking a lot of questions and the more information you feed me, the better I get at asking more pointed questions. I'm great at remembering things the last minute... or not until the opportunity has passed.
