About Me
DOUG:Fun, quirky, out-spoken, neurotic to the bone! Currently finding myself living and working in Oklahoma City, writing software for the aviation industry, and doing a weekend bar tending gig at a local pub. The past 10 years have found me living in Tulsa, OKC, London, Houston, Greenville (SC) and Chicago. I am also curently enjoying the best girlfriend ever, Brandy. She's a lot like me and a lot different than me, and that makes things great! I think I will keep her. You should ask her about how we met - at the fishing hole.
I'm a product of being a teen in the 1980's...
Influenced by movies like Valley Girl, Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club and Fastimes at Ridgemont High, and a love for music ranging from punk rock to the old hair bands to new wave and alternative (when there really WAS alternative music)... I am a sucker for the big city - the sounds and sights and people everywhere - Chicago is my fav... I always find myself interested in meeting and getting to know a variety of types of people - I'm a social sponge who likes everyone.
BRANDY:I'm Brandy Gayle - Mommy to my ♥two girls♥ ages 13 and 9. Love the 4th of July, hockey games, baseball games, making jewelry, takin care of the kiddos, Saturdays, organizing, leadership. - life is working out fine for me :) I love Thunderstorms, watching Grey's anatomy, I love to blog and to read blogs. Myspace is the best way to be nosey in an honest way :)
I'm sarcastic, I love to laugh, love to dance, can't sing worth a hoot, cheerleader, baton twirler and ball player in my former life, cheer mom and soccer mom in the current one :).
I love the smell of fresh thyme, lavender and Hydrangeas in the summer♥I grew up dirt poor, overcame the obstacles of teenage pregnancy and survived congestive heart failure twice. I was given 5 years to live almost 9 years ago. I speak publicly on behalf of a local agency, am the president of a large organization, and taught early childhood education for eleven years.
I surround myself with attentive people, love my friends with my whole heart, and am mending my relationship with Christ.
