About Me
----------------Life just keeps getting weirder, doesn't it? Who would have thought that we would be buying water and household security 15 years ago? No really. In this lifetime I am a professional belly dancer and instructor. Wife, mother, grandmother and crone. The newest addition is my suedo-grandson, Rory, whom I was blessed enough to help deliver and is now 3 months old (11/1/06). The troupe that I am part of, The Babylonian Ensemble, has sponsored the largest bellydance festival in the NW, USA for 19 years now, and still going. The troupe is like an old marriage now, in the very best sense of the word. I'm a Wiccan solitary, great lover of animals and try hard to keep my sense of humor about the aging thing. I swear I'm gonna get through this life, even if it kills me. I've been fortunate enough to have found and kept some pretty amazing friends, if I do say so myself. Feel Middle Eastern Music in my soul, love to dance, write poetry, edit everyone else's writing, have cold feet, warm heart, dust bunnies the size of dinosaurs and no time to do what I want to do. Of course, if I knew what I wanted to do when I grow up, it would probably help me find the time. I am currently working hard to establish a free-lance editing service, already have a crafting business called Mish Moose with a partner material fiend, and eventually would love to have my poetry or my memoir published so that I could have money for my old age... wait... too late. But I still write it, and still work to be published. That's probably more than anyone would ever care to know about me, so on to the rest of the bio...
