About Me

Project Cee grew up in Sidmouth Devon, where he met Rola (Numskullz) and Supreme Shar. They formed Def Defiance and were the music makers of the infamous South Side Alliance, headed up by Kilo for the writers (now moved on to big daddy of SIN-Cru). This was many moons ago, and the Numskullz went on to release loads of top notch hip hop, and Project Cee went and studied architecture before teaming up with Specifik in 2001 and releasing a hand-full of well recieved 12"s and 7"s. Back on the scene (although never really away), THE PROJECTIONS are a holistic hip hop band- ever changing with guest DJ's, EmCees, Producers and Singers, and is the brainchild of Project Cee. The first LP is out now people!!!!! and features 17 tracks on CD and download. THE PROJECTIONS on this first release are:Vocals: Project Cee, Gee-Swift, Asher Dust Cuts and Scratches: Dr. Krome, , Mr Fantastic, DJ Loctite, Sea Da Mystik Producers: Gee-Swift, Rola, DJ Loctite, Specifik, ASM, TruckThe concept is that like minded people with a desire to keep real hip hop moving forward, coupled with a consciousness to tell interesting, relative and very real stories, come together and make hip hop that is rooted deep in funk. Project Cee has been active in the hip hop world for many years on the peripheral-now check the album ya'll! We love shots of Jager, Tequila and Sambuca and almost everything else any decent barman would have hidden away..... The songs that are up here at the moment are from the new release (except 'I Wonder') and give you a flavour of the kind of hip hop we dig.
