Zen is about balance, 'the middle path', esthetics - the beauty of simplicity, satori - glimpses of perfection in the moment, and being in the flow. At the center: Silence. As at the bottom of the ocean - regardless of what is going on at the surface. Silence is the space between the notes that makes the music.
