I enjoy spending my free time playing with our sons, going to the beach, sight-seeing around the island, snoozing in the hammock, watching comedy movies, listening to music, surfing the internet, and going to church. I also like to draw and do craft projects with my sons.
People who I used to know back in high school and college. Shoot me a line -- I'd love to hear from you!
I have pretty eclectic taste. I love 80's music, 70's music, country, blues, jazz, funk, rock, alternative, Hawaiian folk music, and some Christian music. I'm not too big, however, on love ballads, current radio top hits/pop music songs, rap, or hip-hop.
I enjoy comedy movies more than anything but action flicks and dramas are also okay. I am NOT into horror, thrillers, westerns, or stupid chick flicks. My favorite movies are Nine to Five, Office Space, Napoleon Dynamite, Airplane, Super Troopers, The Birdcage, Christmas Story, National Lampoon Vacation movies, and Forrest Gump.
I enjoy watching the Discovery Health Channel as well as police dramas like CSI and Law & Order. I am also hooked on Nip Tuck. I love comedy shows like King of the Hill, Dave Chappelle Show, Simpsons, and Family Guy, as well as reruns of Frasier and Seinfeld. For whatever reason, I never could get into reality tv shows ... the vast majority of these shows end up annoying me and leaving me with the thought, "Well, that was 60 minutes of my life that I'll never get back".
Overall, I probably spend more time reading clinical books than anything else in efforts to keep learning and to come up with new strategies to use in my line of work. However, if I have free time on my hands, I enjoy reading commentaries written by comedians, daily Christian devotionals/ meditations, and mystery books. But let's not kid ourselves ... given that I have twin 3-year-olds, some days I only end up reading Dr. Seuss and various other children's stories OVER AND OVER again.
My father, our military, fire fighters, police officers, and other folks who aren't easily intimidated or afraid to stand up for what they believe in.
