Let's see.... My life is pretty much about my family and friends. What's more important anyways?
I am married. My husband is very hard working and loveable and is a great handy man!
I have a handsome son who is still newly married. My daughter-in-law teaches school.
Our only grandson, TYLER, age 11, is a straight " A " student, has a great disposition, plays soccer, loves animals, and is a wizz at VIDEO games!
My step-daughter attends Ivy Tech College, is going to be a nurse, and presently teaches pre-school children. She just had a new baby BOY on July 24th! His name is Korrie! We are so proud! Another one to spoil!
Grandaughter KAYSIE, I mean PRINCESS, is a charmer, 4 yrs. old, and definately has a mind of her own!
Finally myself, I am pretty outgoing basically, and out spoken too! I hate to have my picture taken.Just thought I would throw that in there! I love to help other people.
I am considering finishing furthering my education, which I have put off way too long!
I love kids, have worked with children and families in some capicity in the job field all of my life. We were also foster parents for many years.
My husband and I have a pretty simple quiet life now.
We have more time to ourselves. We do more for ourselves. We spend lots more time together.
Basically we do whatever spurs us on at the moment! Does that have anything to do with empty nest syndrome or getting closer to reaching that dreaded sounding middle age?
We love to get together with our friends, try new restaurants, take long rides,weekend get-aways, feed the ducks at the park, run for an ice cream cone, and midnight coffee at Dennys!
THE BEST? Spoiling the GRANDCHILDREN and our MALTESE!
We like yard sales, flea mkts, going to the state parks, festivals, photography, going to zoos, camping and fishing, site-seeing, and doing yard work. The fall time is our favorite!
No. #1 is traveling! We have taken some awesome trips over the years! We plan to do lots more in our golden years! Our goal is to finish seeing all of the states by driving! Getting close! We also want to get to Hawaii and Alaska! We are taking a cruise in our future.
