About Me

Update, I graduate this May, May 10,2008 to be exact!!!!! I'll be graduating with my Bachelor of Arts in Music, with a vocal emphasis a concentration in Arts Administration and Business Administration Minor. My instrument is voice, I'm studying opera/classical music. I do sing gospel music as well if we're thinking in genres. I thank God everyday for blessing me with this gift and therefore when I sing my praise goes solely to him.I love God, He is my savior and light through everything. I can do all things through him.God has been blessing me abundantly, the year 2007 was rough but He continually had His hand over my life. Peace beyond all understanding, that's where I'm at right now and it truly is incomprehensible. I thank God for my family, the persons who have taken me into their lives as a sister, or a daughter and my friends. I THANK GOD for allowing me not be consumed by my trials and giving me that strength to finish out the semester! Without God I would have nothing and be nothing because he is my strength, my peace, my wisdom, my joy and my grace. There is no way to place how God works or when He works, He is incomprehensible...You can contact Karren at http://www.myspace.com/kns1970.. My friend Karren Schiele and I have started giving vocal seminars. Our first vocal seminar/workshop was March 9,2007 held at Chrisitan Fellowship Baptist Church at 4509 Troost, the slideshows and the videos that you see on my page are from this workshop. The seminars include breathing techniques, vocal warm ups/vocal exercises, vocal technique, blending, learning the scale, major/minor sounds, analyzing of songs, anatomy of the voice, vocal health and much more. As and update Karren Schiele and I completed our 2nd vocal seminar saturday July 28, 2007, unfortunately we do not have any photos nor videos to put up from this vocal seminar, again I do apologize. This seminar was held at Reaping The Harvest Ministry International (R.T.H.M.I.) in Kansas off of 18th and State. Their pastor is Leo Stanley a wonderful and anointed man of God, his daughter Andrea Watts is the minister of music and was the "lady in charge" who asked Karren and I to come. We worked with their praise team and their choir. The seminar was a definite success. Later on that evening R.T.H.M.I. held a concert and incorporated some techniques and parts of songs that we had worked on earlier during the seminar. As a heads up the concert was amazing! The participants of the seminar incorporated the minor changes Karren and myself provided and the participants let it be known during the concert. Karren and I are so blessed to have had the opportunity to give vocal seminars and blessed to have met so many wonderful people throughout the entire experience. Last but not least I want to give all thanks to our LORD and SAVIOR our FATHER Jesus Christ!!! Without him blessing both Karren and myself with our gifts and without our schooling this wouldn't have been possible at all. He(JESUS) has allowed more opportunities to come our way, He is opening doors for us left and right and we are truly blessed and so thankful for everything that He has done and is doing for us...
