About Me

Well, my name is Stryder, and yes, it does come from the Lord of the Rings....there WAS a book before the movie. I recently moved to Roy, bought a brand spankin new car all on my own, my first major purchase without some kind of help, I'm so very proud of myself.I'm currently in school, almost done thank god! Few more months and I should be able to join the ranks of the recently graduated. Big party ensues....applause....thank you, thank you.I still consider myself a big kid. I love to have fun, but I consider myself somewhat of a homebody, I love to just curl up on the couch, watch a movie or play games, etc. I'm a computer nerd to a point. I love the computer, seems that I am always with one, no matter what, I take my laptop with me nearly everywhere, always fiddling with some program or another.I'm not very shy, my mouth gets me in trouble at work more often than I would care to count. I speak whats on my mind. I can be a ditz though, I'm very forgetful.Well, thats a tip of my iceberg, you can never truly trust these things anyways, until we meet of course.Stryder.

Am I supposed to LIST what I like here? Yeah, RIGHT.....lets try this.....Categories....Industrial, Ska, Punk, Classical, Reggae, Rock, Pop, New Age, Opera, Showtunes, Trance, Techno, and thoughtless, brainless listeners all around the world are just a few of my faves.....not ranking in too high, are country, Hip Hop, and death Metal. I like SOME, but for the most part, they are on the bottom end of my lists......Specifics to listen for....Gravity Kills, Nightwish, Switchblade Symphony .., Genitorturers, Zeromancer, Marilyn Manson, Depeche Mode, Rasputina, Die Form, E-Nomine. try a few, you might be suprised at what you enjoy, as long as you give it a chance.....

Movies:

I am a movie junkie. I'm interested in nearly all movies...I generally hate the "stupid" comedies, but I must confess to owning the scary movie series, and Kung Pow...yes...kung pow.I fully enjoy a thriller like Hard candy, or the historical epics like Elizabeth, and Elizabeth the golden age. Cate blanchet just commands my attention no matter what she's in.Huge fan of Sci-Fi. and if you want to get my attention, nothing works like a good Horror. I like any horror from splatter to high tension terror. ..

Television:

I rarely watch.

Books:

Books have to catch me right off the bat to keep my interest. If they don't, then I never finish them. The only book in recent memory to have done that is "Wicked". haven't seen the musical, and although I love the music, I'm not sure that I should see it....I know from others telling me about it that they changed ever so much....so I would go in with very high expectations, and might possibly be disappointed. I probably will eventually anyways...just because it's a cool story either way.

Heroes:

Sieesa Morgan is a character in a game, .. She is everything that I love about myself, just amplified. She's very strong willed, not scared to speak her mind. She has her inner demons, but she allows others to help her deal with them, and through those friendships that she has developed, she grows even stronger.I love how she defines her existence on her relationship with her friends, she never tries to meet their expectations, but she feels fulfilled simply by being someones friend.Love this woman.
