I like almost everything, I make fun of almost everything, even if I like it. I hate beans, tomatos, snobs, black licorice, and shiny shirt people.
Almost everyone I'd like to meet is dead and the rest are either cartoon characters or chodes in average everyday life, I know enough chodes.
I have these thoughts that maybe one day indie rock can save the world. These are some of my favorite bands criteria , pinback, built to spill, modest mouse, amber halo, el guapo, peter bjorn and john, sparta,the arcade fire, sonic youth, the shins, lcd soundsystem, bjork, supersystem the rapture, the mars volta, the postal service, death cab, blur, tree people, yeah yeah yeah's, Sunny Day Real Estate, interpol, Silversun Pickups, gorrilaz, Dinosaur jr, The Flash Express & the list goes on and on a butt-load of punk like nofx, anti-flag, fugasi, the vandals,FFI, The Holy Moleys, and then all kinds of stuff from hip hop like mos def,common, talib kweli, wu-tang, the roots, dead prez & atmosphere to drum and bass like aphrodite, to etta james, patsy cline, erykah badu, and AC/DC (I fucking love AC/DC) ,Led Zepplin,Eddie Kendricks, Jimi Hendrix, Cut Chemist, Tool, Tribe, johnny cash, Taking Back Sunday (yeah I said it I like them, and sometimes I feel like skipping through a flower filled field. I'm still hardcore. Fuck you and your mama B .) rage against the machine (old rage not that renegades of funk shit) and DJ Shadow, The Temptations, The Staples Singers, James Taylor, & Paul Simon so I'm all over the place. I Just like music that makes me feel good, sad,like dancing, or just feel period. (double period)
Half baked, Waiting, Dazed and confused, Harold and Kumar go to white castle, & Super Troopers. Pretty much anything by kevin smith except clerks I just can't make myself like that movie(It's fucking clown shoes man). I love Evil Dead and Army of Darkness, Pi, The hitch hikers guide to the galaxy, life is beautiful,1900, Everything is illuminated, little miss sunshine, green street hooligans, 300, imitation of life, & Hotel Rwanda. I also like movies with Vikings, kung fu (or ninjas), zombie movies are cool too.
Nova bitch. I watch a lot of cooking shows (Good Eats man!), The Family Guy, Futurama, Chappelle show,Home movies,aqua teen hunger force, Venture Bros, The Boondocks, Metalocalypse, Moral oral, Korgoth of Barbaria.(the adult swim list goes on and on) cartoons in general are awesome, I love Brendon Small! Otherwise it's usually shows about history.
Since I was 9 the outsiders, and anne of green gables. Since I've grown up The Haj, The Voodoo Queen, The day after Tomorrow, and a lot of stuff dealing with history or ancient civilizations.....the list can go on forever I love to read. (I'm a little nerdy....so what.... big whoop wanna fight about it?)
My Grammy, Emiliano Zapata, my mamma, Huey Freeman and Brock FUCKING Sampson (is it weird two of my heros are cartoon characters?).
