During prohibition, there was a woman so beautiful, she would drive men insane. She walked the streets and nightclubs, looking for men she could seduce. She would give them a taste of a concoction that would dull their senses. The morning after, they would wake with nothing but a slight headache and a fleeting memory. The night seemed a dream - full of art, dancing, and music. Some began to call it the Legend of the Syren, a seductress who enticed her lovers with beauty, leaving them by morning. When police finally joined the hunt upon lead of an abduction, they used evidence they gathered to storm into a place on a remote side of town. They discovered a stockpile of alcohol. Their missing man lay drunk in a small place of comfort upstairs. He was clutching a silk dress. They continued to search the building and the city at large. Upon sobering up, the man had no idea what had happened. The woman that the dress belonged to had evaporated. Today, the spirit of Syren lives on in that very place.Syren Lounge and Night Club - Heed the CallTHURSDAYS:SATURDAYS:
