Well, I'm 46 years young and I live in Mesquite, Texas where I grew up. I got my first drum kit when I was 5 years old for christmas. After just 2 weeks, I had completely torn it up, but the "Fever" hit, and I've been playing ever since! I did the band thing all through school as well as playing every sport at the same time. In 1976 I joined my first working band and started performing in various clubs around DFW, even though I was under age (SHHHH). After High school, and after a brief stint playing baseball in the Detroit Tigers farm system, I joined the military where I became a Drill Instructor, but I continued playing drums at clubs in and around the San Antonio area with a band called "The recruits". After the service, I came back home to Dallas, and immediately jumped right into the fire, playing drums in and around the DFW metroplex, performing with some great bands in various genres of music along the way. Musically, I'm a little diverse. I love Heavy Metal, but I also love Country Music. Wide range Huh? Anyway, nowdays I spend my off times with my wonderful family, my wife of 20 years Marcia, my daughter Lacey & husband Ben, my daughter Steffi, and the lights of all our lives,my grand-daughter Alison (she keeps us laughing all the time!) and my grandson Landon. I still find time to do the music thing tho, doing "fill-ins" for bands, recording drum tracks in the studio, etc. I've done some studio work in the past for some pretty successful folks in the music business, and it was a blast, but it could also, at times tedious and complicated. Ya just keep patient, positive, and dedicated, and it works out! My dream has always been to play drums for a national act tho. I've come close a few times but it didn't work out. So, for now, I'll just keep dreamin' and maybe...Anyway, "RIDE HARD-RIDE FREE" & KEEP ROCKIN'!!!!!
