BIO/ 1995: The Thrash-Speed Metal project named OPRESOR, formed by Zajdren (vocals), Aykrag (lead guitar) and Arthur (drums) creates the underground Metal scene in Toluca Mexico.1997: OPRESOR evolves into an obscure Death Metal sound. From this evolution the band SANECRA is born. A new lead vocalist Drakanian joins the band bringing a new sound that includes a powerful bass rhythm. Aykrag remains on Lead Guitar and Zajdren moves to Drums with the departure of Arthur from the band.SANECRA records their first demo album titled "Encantamiento de Horror" (Enchantment of Horror) and began touring throughout Mexico. The tour also included the top Mexican underground bands at the time: Agony Lords, Buried Dreams, under moonlight sadness, and the Legendary Mexican Death Metal Band Cenotaph.1998: SANECRA integrates a synthesized sound with the inclusion of new female member Giselle (Keyboards) and adopts a Melodic-Black Metal Style.1999: SANECRA, transforms again and adds Leinath on Bass and Wängrek as the new Lead Vocalist. This new fusion strengthens the bands sound and SANECRA begins to headline the underground scene.2000: SANECRA, signs its first record contract with the independent label Kronnos Records.2001: SANECRAs debut album " Sexthya Planetary Angels" is released and SANECRA begins it promotional tour. The tour included SANECRA opening up for such respected Black Metal bands as Immortal ( Norway), Dark Funeral (Sweden), Gorgoroth ( Norway) and others. " Sexthya Planetary Angels" obtains international recognition with some distribution to Spain, France, Norway, Romania, Russia and South America.2002: Guxblack replaces Giselle on synthesizer. 2003: SANECRA, starts to work on their sophomore album "Siderevs Nvncivs" and begins a search for a new record label.2005: SANECRA signs with Asenath Records out of Monterrey Mexico and is finalizing its next album Siderevs Nvncivs and preparing for its World Tour which will include some US, South America and Europe tour dates.2008: Wângrek left the band and is replaced by Xphyther on vocals.
