About Me

KUBICAL XPHERE IS RE-FORMING!
The band started in 1985 as a revolt to the newer music that relied heavily on repetitive disco beats and electronics. We were inspired by the Rock bands of the 60's and 70's who relied on electric guitars and acoustic drums for their sound. After the band broke up in 1989, the band members went their seperate ways until 2003 when the band would emerge as a local power trio with the roaring guitar of Ed Lackey, the pounding beats of Greg McRay and the driving bass linjes of newcomer to the band, Guido. The band cut two albums in the years 2003 and 2004 with the later, "Illusions of Life" being their best. Below is the music video "Eve of Destruction" Featuring Ed Nelson as "Ed" in the role that made him famous.
