About Me

MySpace Trains MySpace Smiley Signs Dolls Generator Ascii Converter Dancing Lines All you really need to know about me is that I'm going to leave soon. For Memphis, Tennesse. To see Graceland and become an authentic practicing Buddhist.

My Interests

Writing, listening to music, reading, putting hot rollers in my hair and trying not to pick at my fingernails.

I'd like to meet:

Bob Ross; I mean, I know he died. But he was an amazingly beautiful man, who just wanted to share his passion---his painting---with other people. So that they might know the satisfaction of creating art and expressing themselves.Bob Marley; Ditto. I know he didn't paint---or at least that's not what he was renowned for. But he DID spend his life promoting reggae and sharing the music he loved with fans world over. Both of these Bobs died of cancer, which makes me really sad because they were just a couple of good guys, trying to do some good things with the world. And when you think about all of the horrible people who live for what seems like forever, this is especially heartbreaking. It really is like they say; only the good die young.

Music:

If you're really interested in knowing, you should ask. I love talking about it, but not inside a box like this.

Movies:

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Oklahoma!, The Godfather, The Notebook, A Walk in the Clouds, Sweet Home Alabama . . . it all really just depends on the day. I saw Blades of Glory recently and it was amazingly hilarious. I also like the movie Jeremiah Johnson, though it's sad as hell.

Television:

Project Runway, ER, Boston Legal, The Sopranos, and most importantly, The Black Donellys. The Black Donellys has everything a television show should have. A romantic plot line (Tommy and Jenny), violence and action (Jimmy, Tommy, Dokie, and Nicky), comic relief (Kevin and Joey Ice Cream) and the hottest character in Monday Night television history (Tommy Donnelly himself).

Books:

Different Seasons by Stephen King, The Stand by Stephen King, Carrie by Stephen King, Summer Sisters by Judy Blume, Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, The Little Cowboy by ?, Eragon and Eldest by Christopher Paolini

Heroes:

Ol' Stevie K., Jim DeRogatis, and the ukelele player I met in Hawaii (his name was Kuhio, in case you were wondering) who was the most beautiful human being I've come across in life so far. Also Bob Ross.

Even Landlocked Lovers Yearn

I waited tables today from eleven to four and I made a respectable lump of cash, which I will happily deposit tomorrow. After work I met darling Kate and the two of us shopped a lil' bit. I didn...

William Wallace

Today was such a strange day. Got to Parkland and encountered a mad and crazy zoo of cars. Was told that campus was closed because of a water main issue. Was alarmed because my dad had actua...

I believe in miracles

So if ya'll got the Hellenite, I would just like to correct an oversight, here and now. I'm not on the Fast Facts list. I don't know what I did to be excluded. But I was sure as hell involved so ...

My Gossipin’ Days

Fact of it is, folks, I don't gossip. I don't talk about other people's shit or what they're doing or anything like that. I don't speculate. I don't tell lies or spread rumors or anything. Especially ...

Men vs. Women

I went to see 300 tonight. I thought it was really great. I mean, they could have spared a lot of the nudity, and Xerces (or however it's spelled) was a freakin creep. But I loved the Spartans, I love...

Sleepy Head

Today I realized how tired I am. I was tired in the physical sense because I barely slept over the weekend (but loved every second of my awakeness) but I'm also emotionally exhausted of the b.s. that ...

Bush and Co.

My mom is reading a book called Static, which is written by the people who created Democracy Now; a very depressing news show. Anyway, I think I'll read the book after her. But here are a few tid bits...

Our First Track Meet

I really like track. It's not cross country. Nothing can touch XC. But there is a lot about it that I like. There's so much down time. I like that you can walk around and chat with everyone. It allevi...

A Sledding Story

Jill called me around three and asked me to go with them out to Homer Lake. I thought it was a really bad idea since it was only, what? Eleven degrees outside? It ended up being really cool though. Af...
