Nicole

Nicole started playing the guitar at the ripe old age of eleven. She took lessons from various people but began private lessons around the age of 13 with Vidal Lepe at Hi-Line Music in Rancho Cucamonga. She has performed in many of the recitals held by Hi-Line and has also peformed at many coffee shops in the surrounding area (Claremont, Upland and LaVerne). In 2005 she started a band with some friends from the University of La Verne calling themselves Azure Masquerade (I know, so dramatic). The band played in La Verne and did a show in Hollywood before splitting up due to time constraints. Now she has started a band called the Vinyls who currently gig in the area. Nicole writes most of the music in the band, sings and plays rhythm and lead guitar. She is working on her music degree at the University of La Verne and is taking private lessons from Pebber Brown(electric guitar) and Michael Ryan (classical guitar) and is looking forward to piano lessons in the fall.
