Friends & Family-wise: 4.12.08 Baby Adi is 18 months old! Mom and Pop Acosta are back in NYC. Anita is back on the roads.Chugging-along-wise: 4.12.08 Team Dreamfar, my new triathlon team will be competeing at the Wrentham Duathlon on 4.20.08!Other-wise: Peace - it's as real as it gets.I am doing the 2008 Florida Ironman to raise funds for kids with Arthritis! Please support my training and my attempt at an Ironman distance (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile cycle, 26.2 mile run.) Hola! Yo soy un Hispano Catolico de la ciudad de Nueva York - I am a continuous imperfection in the making but perfect enough for my lovely wife, Nita, and beautiful daughter Adi. Having grown up in the Big Apple I believe in everything and everyone. It's what happens when you have 8 million people propping and prompting you to be different and be yourself. I love chocolate and desserts and I've been told that if I ever cut back on them I'd be a faster triathlete. I don't understand the recommendation. I love museums and the theater and every kind of music and I have a terrible Barnes and Noble addiction. I love napping and TV almost as much as the outdoors and training. I am a city kid, having been raised in NYC, still I can't imagine a prettier place then the lakes, rivers, woods or backroads I swim, bike and run through. Everything is community and I try to serve it as often as I can except when chocolate and a book intersect with a bad TV movie and a couch...and a nap with Adi, Clio and Bella. My home is now Southie in the lovely and tiny city of Boston.
