On the way back from the Million More Movement (2nd Million Man March) in Washington D.C. in 2005, co-foundersMr. DAVID C. HENDERSON and MR. ROBERT R.A. TURNER said that they wished they had bought more positive and uplifting t-shirts at the event, but there were just so many. A few miles later, they realized they could make the same kind of shirts themselves and put positive, uplifting, political messages and statements that speak out as well. Hence, Word on the Street was born, and the rest has since developed. Both co-founders are 24 years old. Robert is married and resides in Birmingham, AL; David is single and resides in Tuskegee, AL.
