^^^ Fly Mad ^^^ A good friend and I started this group web a few years back and we now have close to 190 members world wide. MAD KITERS
We fly up here in Big Bear CA, at about 6,500'. Our flying fields are the High school in Sugarloaf, Baldwin Lake, Meadow Park in Big Bear Lake and whereever else we can squeeze in some airtime.
I really love freestyle. It seems that every time I go out I find another new trick or combo I can do. I hope that never changes. If you ever wonder why some people are bitter, it might be because they once had something new and exciting, but they let it get old and rusty.
As the managers and founders of MAD KITERS , we put on a demo show in Big Bear during the summer months. The shows are free and piggyback other events on the mountain so that we can get large crowds to see what kites can do now. Everyone seems to like the shows and they all love to learn about the sport kites. We will post the demo. show info. on our group web and in this blog if it happens.
WrongRealities
I opened a musicians web in 2000, because I love home grown live bands and I wanted to help them if I could. WrongRealities.com did just that with free banner ads, free banners and message boards. WrongRealities is no more... The web was too big and had very little traffic, so I took it down. There are many other music webs to give bands a home. One of the best is cdbaby.com. I am proud of what I had with WrongRealities and I hope I have helped a band or two.
WrongRealities.com has now come to an end, but I know that there are many other site out there to help bands promote, find new members and get new gear.
