Other than the fact that I am "odd" which I will admit, I am a geek; and if I compare myself to an animal, it would be a horse. I have a great depth of personality; I tend to be very complicated and hard to understand, however, I can understand and deal with complex issues and people. I can be hard to get to know. I have an unusual inner life, but I am reserved and tend not to share my deepest thoughts and reactions except with those I trust. I have an "idealist" temperament with an instinct for interpersonal integration, and often speak interpretively and metaphorically of the abstract world that is my imagination...

___________ I chanced to glance a maiden sweet a'passing through the glade,
While danced she did 'round flower beds and sauntered in the shade.
I chased to spy with my young eye the feet of such a lass;
They gloried in the sunlight as she tarried in the grass.
Bare, but hardly worn and weathered, innocence twixt wear,
She bore the beauty of a maid as sightly as is rare.
As slightly as she moved she swam among the glen and brush,
So that her body smelled as sweet, and fancied just as lush.
As smoothly moved her feet o'er blade and flower on the ground,
I stayed in sight, glimpsed what I might, and surely made no sound.
Sad, but longing, shorn and torn asunder from my past,
She led me kind and quietly though I was lesser caste.
Well past noon, and none too soon, stopped she that rest might follow,
Eating berries wild grown, allowing me to wallow.
In her presence, gently set upon her soft-laid mantle's fur
What surprise I found me in when sang she out my name;
Twas not alone I gazed the while, and so out I came
From yonder hill whose thickets well disguised my stare from her.
Days spent not, aye, but long months in dotage whilst she knew,
The full of things, as I did not, but love was formed, and grew.
As one day the tower's bells at one good church did ring,
I put around her finger such, and she made me a king
