Tony has been involved in music for over 17 years, It all started as a young boy on stage with his father, Portuguese recording artist Jose Lobo, playing the tamborine at age 4 . At the age of 10, He became the full time drummer for his father, and later became the Musical Director. When Tony turned 16 He decided to take his drumming to next level,explore genres of music, from Jazz to funk to Metal..At age 18, He started studying Music Theory and the History behind the drums. After 4 years of Theory Training decided to try something different and join a Jazz band.. about 2 years of playing Jazz, He wanted to expand his ability with music and go the Production route.. Today Tony is a freelance working drummer and Audio engineer.. He has had the pleasure of working with many well known artisits & Bands . Tony is Currently working on his new Project ''Projektheory'' an r&b Soul band based out of Boston..
