Leona Laviscount Trio

A native newyorker, she developed her style, from the precious teachings of Tad Damerun and Cab Callow influenced by the talented Betty Carter, she was considered as being an "east side singer", , while perfoming in renown theater's such as the Apollo with Cab and Birdland with Philly Jo Jones to the Waldorf Astoria with Tony Bennett, and Larry Steel at the Fountambleu in Miami, it all helped in creating her unique style, blended with jazz, blues and gospel sounds........and up to now, she is still very thankful to Gerry Lewis to have included her into one of his Telethons!As she discovered a new life in Europe, startin from Sweden, she decided to make Italy her second home, working with renown italian artist such as Totò, Walter Chiari, Celentano, Vecchioni, Lino Banfi, Rossana Casale, Loredana Bertè, Giuni Russo, and The level Blues Band........Least and not last she created her own Gospel choir ''the Golden Lights'', to bring more light and joy, to this world!Many blessings!
