Name: VENSTE (pronounced "ven-steh")
Background: From Paris South, now living in Minneapolis. "J'viens du 91 garcon!" Father from Cameroon (west Africa), mother is French. Grew up in a musical family playing drums, percussion, violin, piano and performing in a French reggae band.
The Crew: Still regularly writing tracks with artists back in France like LAZAR, TAYOMIC, GOONSH, CARLITOSOBOUNCE, BIRDYLION and producer ZAMO.
Since I've been in the states, I've recorded tracks with artists such as KESTON WESTDAL, MISSI HALE (on a WORLDWIDE GROOVE CORPORATION compilation called Chillodesiac Lounge), THE RULE band members and KARI SHAW. Performed at the Kitty Kat Club, the Red Sea, Dinkeytowner, the Cabooze, the Nomad, Statiu's and more. More recordings and performances coming up!
