My name is Tom Lawrenson, I am an Acoustic musician from Dorking in Surrey, I write all my own songs and perform regularly in pubs in and around Dorking. Most of my music is quite slow and chilled out so paying in pubs with people talking over the top of you isn't the ideal place for my music. It doesn't really bother me tho because i love performing whenever I get a chance, it doesn't matter if its in front of 2 people or 2 thousand people. There's a buzz you get from performing a good set to an audience that you cant get anywhere else. Over the next year I plan on getting an album recorded with guest musicians and hopefully some backing vocals from someone. I am in three other bands, a punk band called 'Up the Anti' in which I play guitar, my acoustic band 'Silent Conspiracy' which has been a long running project with Alex Pfeiffer and I have just recently joined 'Jokers round the table', in which I do my fair share of vocals and play guitar. I have turned one or two of my songs into songs with the new band and so far its sounding pretty damn good. I hope to get somewhere with my music one day because it is something I really enjoy and care passionately about. Please have a listen and let me know what you think.
