I like pretty much all types of music. Rock, classic rock, punk, metal, rap. Not a fan of country, not sure why, I think an ex of mine might have ruined country music for me forever.
There's as many good films out there today as bad ones, for me it's either hit or miss, I give anything a try. Favorite movie ever "City of God".
