.......ABOVE IS A PICTURE OF MY PASTOR'S.....THEY HAVE BEEN IN MINISTRY OVER 30 YEARS....I am from California and currently work as a recovery specialist for a secular rehab for teens. I am active in my church and have been a Lay Minister for over 7 years.I ran a Christian rehab home for men from 1988-2001 in Sun Valley and North Hollywood,Ca. I have one son,Nathaniel.... and one daughter,LaToya....God loves you! Yes, he truly does. Maybe you have heard this a thousand times before, and everytime you hear it you shrug it off as the words of a person gone bonkers. But please stop and ponder with me for a while.Don't we all need a Saviour? In a world where moral values are taking a plunge, where evil is becoming a norm of society, where love and trust are being replaced by lust and betrayal, don't we need a Saviour? We really ought to stop in our tracks and take stock of our OWN lives. Is our life in a mess? Is life worth the living? Where are we headed?But - and this is a very important "but" - Jesus Christ well and truly gives meaning and direction to one's life. The Bible tells me: "For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him will not perish but have everlasting life."To me, this is a profound statement. By just putting your trust in Jesus Christ you gain life - and life, in the truest sense of the word. LIFE. The best gift one can ever have. You don't want to throw it away right? Even if you lose out on everything, you still have your LIFE. And THAT life can be turned into something beautiful, something good by the touch of God.God's touch can transform a ruined soul into an everlasting masterpiece. Ponder with me my friend. God loves you and He wants you to spend eternity with Him. Will you allow Him to disentangle you from the clutches of a world gone insane and place you on the path to life? The choice is your's and your's alone. He is calling out to you....Will you answer His call now?Jesus loves you..and He cares for you. He died on the cross so that you and I will not have to bear the penalty of sin. He bore it all on the cross. I invite you to experience the love of Jesus in your life. Just a simple prayer of faith, asking Him into your life, would do: "Lord Jesus, I believe in You. I need you to take over my life Lord. Thank you for forgiving my sins. Come in today, come in I pray. Amen."If you have decided to give your life to Him, I must welcome you into His fold. Here are a few Bible verses to help you along as you begin your walk with your Saviour :Come unto me all you who are weary and I will give you rest. Or are they servant leaders knit together by the Holy Spirit who are collectively trying to discern God's will?Similarly, if I wanted to determine the spiritual vitality of an individual using only one criterion, I would evaluate whether the person desires to live according to the will of God, or if he desires to do his own thing. The prayer of a vital, growing Christian is, "Make me know Thy ways, O LORD; teach me Thy paths" (Psalm 25:4).Once our will is bent in the right direction, Jesus raises the additional question of motive: "He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who is seeking the glory of the One who sent Him, He is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him" (John 7:18). The person who is true glorifies the one who sent him.This is perfectly modeled in the Godhead. Notice first the example of Jesus: "For I proceeded forth and have come from God, for I have not even come on My own initiative, but He sent Me" (John 8:42). The Holy Spirit acts in the same way. In John 16:13, 14, Jesus said, "He [the Spirit] will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak. . . . He shall glorify Me."I can take this one step further. Are you ready for this? Jesus said in John 20:21: "As the Father has sent Me, I also send you." Granted, that was said to the apostles, but we are all under the Great Commission. Do you want to be true? Then glorify the One who sent you! People who know they are God-sent and are committed to live like that, glorify God. Self-sent people seek their own glory.Prayer:Today, Lord, I purpose to reflect my appointment as Your sent-one by glorifying You instead of myself.I have been in Victory Outreach Ministries for over 20 years now....

I like all kinds of movies..............but am really into action, sci-fi and select Japanese type cartoon movies...and every now and then I'll catch a horror flick....

I do not watch too much television....most of what I watch I catch it on breaks at work....
