Verdite

We are 'Verdite' and we come from Durham in the North of England.We are a 5 piece band and play Alternative/Rock/Pop/Brit-Pop, etc...We have recorded a few Demo's, at 'The Forum' Darlington, done a live session for BBC Radio Cleveland, & are currently building a cool set list to play live gig's in the Durham/Newcastle area.We like to do a mixture of Covers and our own stuff which is written by our singer, Mark and Guitarist, Paul. No one writes like Mark. He has a cool collection of eclectic songs, which have to be heard to be believed! We all have different influences in this band.I am the Drummer and I like everything from 70s Punk, to 80s New Wave, and beyond. We think our music is original, sometimes Retro, but always good! We just need a chance to get some exposure and get our music heard by the masses. The two trax uploaded best showcase the band. They both sound different, yet typically Verdite!VERDITE is a stone that stimulates the energy centers/chakras. It can assist the movement of Kundalini. Often, verdite is used to access and assimilate ancient knowledge. Emotionally, verdite brings consistency, stability, and fortitude. Physically verdite is used for cleansing the blood, removing toxins, and genital disorders.
