I am a drummer/percussionist, I started out at the age of eight playing bodhran in the pub with local folk musicians, soon after I was playing drum-set and spent the next few years playing and recording with friends in suffolk.At the age of 11 I spent some time in Kenya and Uganda, my eyes were opened to a whole other world of drumming, I was lucky enough to experience this first hand and take part.In summer 2004 I met the tabla maestro Sirishkumar, this turned out to be life changing, his wonderful playing and giving attitude inspired me to pursue this art form and to learn from him as a disciple. Since then I have immersed my self in the study of tabla, and have had the pleasure of performing with my Guru.I have been involved with a variety of projects, providing live percussion for puppet shows at the Central School of Speech and Drama, creating sound tracks for multimedia dance projects and Session playing for songwriters.I also promote, produce and manage classical Indian music concerts, run tabla workshops and teach drum-set and tabla in East Anglia.. <a href="http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?
