About Me

Composer of electronica and ambient instrumental music.

This ambient melodic electronic album is a musical journey of Apollo 11 - the first mission to land on the moon. The music creates atmospheric soundscapes with lush retro sounding keyboards reminiscent of Air, Chicane and Orbital with a little Jarre and Vangelis.

in July 2006 after watching a documentary I came up with the idea of writing a concept album about the Apollo 11 mission. As a composition there are some very distinct phases to the mission which lend themselves to musical movements. With each track I've tried to capture a particular moment from the mission. The album took 7 months to record and was finalised in April this year. As 2009 will mark the 40th anniversary of the moon landings I'm currently putting together a marketing plan to try and get as much exposure as possible before the anniversary. I'm currently in contact with these organisations with the plan of making 'Eleven' the soundtrack to the International Year of Astronomy which also happens to be in 2009.

Earlier in the summer I entered ‘Parade’ the final track on the album, in the 2007 UK Songwriting Contest where it reached the semi finals. In the coming weeks I have interview on BBC Radio Kent and will also be featured in the BBC’s ‘Sky at Night’ magazine.

The album can be bought from CD Baby
