Born and raised on the Eastside of St.Paul at the age of 19, Tommy P. also known as Thomas Morelli has been working the last 4 years on creating his own style of Hip-Hop/R&B music. He started out by learning from "Guess Who" of Ears Wide Open Productions. Guess taught him the basics of composing music and editing vocals. He considers Guess his biggest influence on his music and one of the biggest reasons he got into music. Tommy P. kept picking up tips from other producers and musicians to make his music even better. He met up with Sal Simmons in 2006 and they started to produce complete songs together. At first, Tommy P would mostly make beats to the style of Dre; heavy on the strings, and simple on the drums. Sal's style was a bit different. He did not like heavy strings so it forced Tommy P to switch up his style which turned into a very good thing. He focused on making each beat different from the next beat. He experimented with a lot a different styles to reinvent himself on every beat. He continues to make beats that are all different styles that has a little bit of something for everyone. He is very picky about who he works with. He is not really into all of that "hood stuff" if you wanna call it that nor is he into all of that dancing here for one moment gone the next. He likes to work with artists that write thought provoking lyrics and have REAL things to say in a song and not just how gangster they are! He has created hundreds of instrumentals and produced dozens of songs including a 3 complete albums for Sal Simmons that were completely edited and produced by Tommy P. All the beats that are played on this page are produced and edited by Thomas himself. So listen to them and let him know what you think.
