Lloryn Love is currently President of L.R.L. Productions, a full-service event management firm. Since inception in 2005, the company has worked with numerous companies and organizations on event management projects including, the National Newspaper Publishers Association, Central Michigan University President’s Gala and the Chippewa Indian Tribe Community Outreach Program.With over five years of public and community relations and event management experience, she has worked with some of the country’s largest companies and organizations including Target/Marshall Fields, the North American International Auto Show, the Parade Company, General Motors Corp., Ford Motor Company and DaimlerChrysler.In addtion, she has worked on some of the country's most prestigious and well known events including: The Detroit Institute of Arts/Friends of African and African American Art Bal Africain and Ebony Magazine Pathfinder Celebration (held during annual Superbowl XL festivities).Previously, she was Public Relations and Event Coordination Manager for On Wheels, Inc., a multi-cultural, multi-media communications company. Here, she revamped the Urban Wheels Awards, the only diversity event in conjunction with the North American International Auto Show. In 2005, the program brought in over $350,000 in sponsorship support along with solid relationships from General Motors Corp., Ford Motor Company, DaimlerChrysler, and Radio One, Inc.In addition, Love is a communications consultant for numerous communications companies in the Metro-Detroit area. Within these companies she is responsible for brand awareness, public relations, and strategic planning initiatives for Organic Root Stimulator, the nation’s leader in ethnic hair care and the Caleidoscope of Culture Awards, held in conjunction with National Diversity Week.A native of Chicago, Illinois, she holds a B.S. (cum laude) degree from Central Michigan University based in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan and is currently working on her master’s degree in communications from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
