Akins has production work in progress with Daryl Swann ( Macy Gray's Producer ) for self-written " I Just Wanna Luv U." Aaron Akins current cd "Into The Cole" was produced by Emmy and Grammy Award winning Darryl Phinnessee ( noted for writing the "Fraiser" sitcom theme song, three world tours with Michael Jackson, touring with Rod Stewart and other partnerships which include Quincey Jones, Anita Baker, Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Bill Cosby, etc.) Aaron has opened for Bob Hope at the Hollywood Palladium and was honored to perform at the Vatican singing for the Pope on Christmas Day 1999. His musical composition " I Just Wanna Luv U " highlighted the Mac Arthur Park Soundtrack, an award winning Sundance Channel Film to be distributed in the foreign markets. Aaron Akins is noted for receiving Chicago land support exponentially via Chicago land Steppers, consistent airplay on WSSD FM, air time on WGCR satellite radio, regular appearances on CAN TV and promotional endorsements by legendary Chicago radio personality and club circuit favorite Sam Chatman. Akins' additional Chicago land support includes Coop Music Stores sales, a promotional partnership with the 30 member Nite Life D.J. pool, airplay on WVAZ FM (V- 103) and a promotional partnership with 106.3 FM. Akins" "Nature Boy" adaptation is a Chicago land highly respected hit. He is also receiving airplay on WMCS 1290 Milwaukee, Wisconson. Aaron Aikins" current cd "Into The Cole" also features keyboardist Bill Steinway (noted for touring with Natalie Cole ), drummer James Allen ( noted for touring with Stevie Wonder ) and bassist Lance Morrison ( noted for performance on Alanis Morrisette"s 18 million seller cd "Jagged Little Pill") Akin's perfromed at the North Sea Jazz Festival along with a host of others including Al Jarreau, Bobby Mcferrin, Ray Charles, Eric Benet, Herbie Handcock, Stanley Clark, Joe Sample, Marcus Miller, and Eric Clapton. Aaron AKins' performance is highlighted on the "98 BRE annual cd compilation including Jermaine Dupri, Destiny's Child, Master P, Jay Z, and Tamia. He received a "Behind The Scenes" magazine review for the hit recording of "Mona Lisa."
