BIOGRAPHY:From the age of 18, when Pearce was introduced to the dance fraternity through clubbing and socializing, his overwhelming intrigue of what it was like behind the D.J booth triggered a reaction with in him, which has left him an addict to the decks!Pearce first ventured out into the DJ’ing industry with a partner, Another fellow DJ and now producer and long term friend; General Lee. The two DJ’ed back to back together over a period of 3 years. Through out this time they both became known for their personalities and unique DJ’ing styles inclusive of quirky intro’s and their vibrant energy’s when performing. It was in 2006 that Pearce M and General Lee decided to develop and advance new skills with in the industry and choose to separate. They still do however get together and do the occasional gig and bang it out like old times. General Lee is now concentrating on his producing and Pearce still follows his passion which is to DJ and entertain!Pearce’s technical ability is highly advanced and reflects his personal style, to which he can manipulate to please crowds and create an atmosphere that sours people’s emotions, teasing and thrilling audiences playing any genre. Funk Deluxe, Polysexual, Sundissential, Spin, Fuel, Tasty and more…His current involvement within the funky genre has graced him with many opportunities. Such an opportunity presented itself when Pearce was made the new resident for Funk Deluxe which is touring the U.K. In June of 2007 Funk Deluxe kicks off the summer by soaking up the sun in Ibiza!.Pearce leaves his unique mark on the industry with his passionate attitude towards entertaining. I think, if asked he would say “I pride myself on being versatileâ€. His versatility has allowed him to obtain new skills when playing different styles and better his technique and develop with the industry as it continually changes. Pearce has also got a reputation for playing hi-energy and playful hard house as well as up-lifting hard trance to which he rocked audiences at venues such as Polysexual, Sundissential, Bounce 2 This, After’s, Gay Pride and more… His experience has also included playing live sets and giving interviews on internet radio stations such as streaming radio and clubbedup, spreading his vibe to a wider audience.Pearce's involvment and experience in the clubbing industry has allowed him to work with some of the best in the business. In March 2007 "Polysexual" the largest of the hard house brand names asked Pearce to come on board with their promotions team and be in charge of booking D.J's for Polysexual's Carbon Lounge at Air Nightclub in Birmingham; Booking talent in both hard house and Funky/Electro house.One of Pearce’s most attractive qualities’s as a D.J is his modesty and personality. He is admired by many for remaining grounded and true, and is associated with his positivity and ambitious passion. Pearce confidently welcomes new challenges with in his D.J career, but one in particular challenge for him was to embrace his interest in producing and take his ideas and collaborate, with other fellow d.j’s to create some of the new sounds being played by many today in the industry.
