Write. Tattoo. Work out.

About Me

I am a writer, tattoo artist, and spoken word artist who performs with other spoken word artists, standup comedians, musicians, and basically anyone else who goes on stage.
Read my writing, come to my shows. Why? Because they're funny, insightful, sarcastic, and another adjective that would inspire you to read and watch them. I could describe myself as a social anthropologist, discussing politics, religion and various other social observations with a sarcastic and insightful edge, but I'd rather you just read the many things I have written on here and form your own conclusion. Instead of me catering the idea to you, find it yourself and feel free to let me know what you think.
I keep pretty busy with my ambitions. I have been writing for over twelve years. I have read live on numerous occassions (over one hundred times) at numerous venues to numerous types of audiences of various sizes and went on a minitour with the Spin Doctors' Chris Barron in June 2007. I have written for some magazines, underground zines, a newspaper and was interviewed on NPR in August 2004. I have been banned from places to read live and almost had my head caved in by an overly-patriotic biker for down-talking our Commander-in-chief to give a few brief examples of my live reading.

Band Members: You may or may not know, and you may already own it, but I am currently selling medium quality booklets jam packed with delicious, unforgetable, feel good, monumental, invigorating essays of fiction, non-fiction, and various subgenres of the two - all written by me.They are cheap at $3. Each high quality booklet is aluminum binded (unlike today's traditional method of binding each book with unreliable glue) and printed on genuine white paper with jet black ink to make reading easier for each reader - that means you read easier - and you love what you're reading while you're doing it.If you are interested in purchasing this staple in American literature, please click the "Buy Now" link below to pay with PayPal. If you live in 1996 and don't have a PayPal account, email me and we'll work something out. If you live in or around the Treasure Coast, you can stop by my tattoo shop, Mighty Mikes Tattoos on PSL Blvd in Port Saint Lucie and buy one directly from me (this method includes free S&H). you can also buy one from me if you happen to see me at a gas station since I have a box of them in my back seat collecting moths and silverfish."This is the greatest print I have ever read!" - Phil Grech
Influences: Quality literature, tattoo shops, fast bars and cheap cars, righteous music, and good livin'.

Choose Silence When You Don’t Know What You’re Talking About

You know why I don't run discussions regarding dinosaur anatomy or time travel? Or why I don't engage in debates regarding China's foreign policy? Because I don't shit about any of it. I don't think ...

You Are Not Supposed to Be Smarter Than Him

Most people live for nothing but their own fear of death. It's their own fear of death that keeps in the corner everyday. They're still not doing anything to prolong it. They've only turned their cor...

Allow me one cliché: The world is filled with two types of people: those who admit their regrets and those who pretend they have no regrets. Usually, the people who claim to have no regrets call them...

The Words Lose Meaning, Turn to Ink
