Psyncopath is a one man band who you can usually see in Lichfield precinct of a Saturday afternoon, bangin out another classic tune upon his harmonica and big bass drum.

Psyn hails from the well known (once industrial) city of Birmingham, England, where he grew up in the Hwood (Handswoth Wood - to give it it's full name). After getting into hip-hop in the early 90's, he decided to try his hand at droppin a few of the old beats, as they say. He had a very strong musical bond with his first two collaborators. Unfortunately, one of these friends passed on in 96 (Rest In Peace, Jay Starr - the world missed out!), however the other is still with us and rocks the mic with a passion and intelligence that is second to none. You may notice collaborations with this artist appear here from time to time. Of course i speak of Rankin Rah - long live h.U.E. I could not continue, however, without mentioning the fourth member, who joined later to provide us with a more sinister and brutal edge - one of which will haunt me for the rest of my days.

Years passed and he worked on various projects with shit keyboards and drum machines, the highlight of the first few productions being a 4 channel mixer, with an 8 second sampler attached. Thanx Dad.
He finally got an old PC with software.... well, Evolution Audio Lite!! However, this did open his eyes to the versatility of step sequencing and built a good basis for future productions on packages such as Cubase and Reason. Also, the whole Fruityloops series, Cool Edit Pro, Ableton Live and Peak, have all played a part in moulding Psyn into the creator of the auditory phenomenon that will be gracing/destroying your eardrums, as you read this.
