Slim2ball has already been put on the same level as some of the hottest producers in the industry. Born & raised in St. Louis MO, Slim has proven to be the most promising producing talent St. Louis has to offer. At the age of 16, he had a stronge love for music; his father bought him an ASR sampler beat machine. After countless hours in his basement studio, learning how to use his equipment, Slim taught himself how to make his first beat & write his first song, which is how he came up with his name “Slim2ball” meaning “Twice the baller”. Then he began writing & producing songs for local artist which became serious after his first taste of radio success with a local street anthem called “Shake Dem Haters off” which he wrote, produced & performed in clubs, in cities like ATL, Memphis, NYC & his home town STL. With his sound in rotation, Slim then hit the streets with his mix CD’s flooding STL. His underground style of producing is versatile. Ranging from upbeat, bouncy club anthems to edgy street instrumentals, they are found to be a unique & superior approach to the customary producing world, bringing him local fame & recognition as the man behind the music, leaving him admired & well respected by other local artist & producers. His eminence in the music industry was inspired by the best, his influences includes Jay-z, Nelly & Fabolous. Slim ultimate goal is to look over at Dre & say “THAT’S A HOT TRACK WE JUST MADE!”
