It seemed simple enough -
Take the nucleus of a great regional cover band, add two new members, play a big company Christmas party, and call it quits.
It only took one show to convince QPQ that early retirement was not an option. Drawing on previous experience as members of bands such as Havok, Kapture, Rough Riders, and Distrust, QPQ combined five guy’s passion for music into one cohesive bundle of Rock known as QUID PRO QUO.
Then…
Quid Pro Quo has a long history of providing high quality Rock-n-Roll. Regardless of the situation – Indoor beach party, farewell bash, outdoor river party, or any venue that required true Rock and Roll showmanship, QPQ were there bringing their personal brand of entertainment.
And now…
“I can’t have a leash.†Ask Lyle why he prefers a wireless and that is what you’ll hear. Whether he’s singing to you, with you, or being your dance partner, you can count on Lyle to bring the show your way – You aren’t a spectator, you’re a participant!
Of course it’s not Rock-n-Roll without some awesome lead playing and a rock steady rhythm section. Lead guitarist Kourt Jensen can lay it down with the best of them, while Larry’s drumming is always there and always on time. Ron and Dennis hold the rhythm down like they’ve played together for years.
QUID PRO QUO maintains a stage energy that few bands seem to have. No motionless poses, no little rock star egos, just a love for playing that rubs off on anyone willing to have a good time.
