Phonogenic is run by a 4 -strong team: two coming from the industry in the shape of General Managers "Tops" Henderson, Paul Lisberg and they are joined as directors in the company by Steve Kipner and Andrew Frampton, two of the foremost songwriters in the world right now.
Lisberg believes that harnessing the creative talent behind Phonogenic represents a way forward for the industry "The philosophy behind the label is that the song is king which plays to our collective strengths, and when you combine that with SonyBMG's machine we believe that we can provide a great opportunity for artists"
Sony BMG’s Chairman & CEO, Ged Doherty, also believes in this new approach: “Their CVs speak for themselves, " he says.
