Kids don't listen to anyone over 30 - Jim Verduin

About Me

Happily ensconced master of mayhem, uhm... maker of mischief, errr..... manager of munchkins? Associate of Youth and Family Ministries. Yeah. That's it.

My Interests

I'm interested in an authentic faith. Something that deals with a real God, in real life, with real people. Anything less is not even worth imagining.

I'd like to meet:

One person who was truly awake. One person who was truly alive. One person who was truly free. One person who truly loved. I'm still not sure if you get one, you get them all. But I think so.

Music:

I try to be eclectic, but I'll always have a rock and roll heart. Like most folks, I like to hear new stuff, and I'll listen to most anything if I'm in the mood for it.

Movies:

My theory on movies is that they have to know what they're about, and then be that. Popcorn movie? Cool. Romantic comedy? Fine. Drama? Great. Be that, and be good at it, and I'll be happy.

Television:

I like "Heroes", but Jess hates it. We've been watching that new hostage negotiator show together. (It's got the little relationship between the two negotiators for Jess, and the psychological stuff and the guns for me) Oh, and I like "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" too.

Books:

Picked up a pile of new ones at a conference around the new year, chewing my way through them.

Heroes:

Duh.
