Bring Our Troops Home

I am here for Networking

About Me

I started this myspace when my brother was serving in Afghanistan but thankfully he has come home safe and sound. I want to continue this considering all of the other soldiers are still fighting an unjust war. I started it all because I thought myspace would be a perfect opportunity to gain support for Military Families Against the War due to my network is over at 100 million. MFAW is an organization of people directly affected by the conflict in Iraq and Afghanistan. Our relatives and loved ones are members of the British Armed Services and we are opposed to the continuing involvement of UK soldiers in a war that is based on lies.We call on Tony Blair to withdraw our troops immediately. The soldiers and their families at home have the most at stake in this conflict. For some of us, our loved ones have been killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Our brave men and women risk injury and death while our government continues an unjust war for political ends. We say quite simply this is wrong.Bring our Troops Home Now!All of your support would be much appreciated. Please visit http://www.mfaw.org.uk/ and sign our petition. Also see http://www.stopwar.org.uk/. Please pass on the message to anyone you may think will support us. http://www.myspace.com/britishtroopshome

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I am not really politically minded but I completely understand how people feel when they state that we should also be considering the innocent lives being lost in Afghanistan and Iraq. The troops being sent to Afghanistan and Iraq have been used and their loyalty to the British army has been taken advantage of. They are sent out to fight, some say for oil and this makes my blood boil. But I am trying not to get lost in the political side as I have to do so much research to be strong in my convictions. I will leave that to military families against the war and stop the war coalition.

If the Army does not care, then who will?

I think it is an absolute disgrace that these lads who have just returned from a place and experience that none of us will ever be able to understand, and put in an NHS hospital with a mental health p...
