The BatGrave är en av Sveriges få klubbar som inriktar sig på musikfenomentet Gothic . Klubben drivs i en lokal på Södermalm, notoriska alternativhaket Grottan.
Tankarna på att Sverige, och i synnerhet Stockholm, saknade en klubb där likasinnade människor som gillade gothic rock/postpunk/darkwave och dylikt saknades, fick Jimmy att ta initiativet till att starta klubben.
Grottan brukar av många i alternativscenen bekskrivas som "ett andra vardagsrum", ett myshak med sköna tongångar i högtalarna.

The BatGrave is one of a very few clubs in Sweden devoted to the music phenomena called Gothic . The club is held in a Södermalm premises nearby the subway station Medborgarplatsen; the notorious alternative hangout Grottan ("The Cave").
The feeling that something was lacking in the alternative scene of Sweden, and Stockholm in particular, grew strong on Jimmy in early 2007(resident DJ/Club promoter), who then decided to start up a club. It quickly became a gathering point for goths and likeminded people who had felt the same way about the scene.
