Since about 1970, to the best of my recollection, I have loved Art & Science more or less equally & with an intense passion, bordering on the pathological. Both are intimately connected in my World View. Both have Mystery at thier root. Without a sense of Awe & Wonder in my life, I am lost...useless...bereft."The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. I love digital photography, playing around with light & shade, using my imagination thingie - it helps keep me sane...THIS MUCH I KNOW...We, (well our distant microbial ancestors) not only came from the planet mars but seemingly the ones that stayed evolved into Homonids & are still there now!.Following on from this, for roughly the last 4 billion years or so I have come to the conclusion that the phrase that best sums up how to get on in Life is this- Adapt & Survive...I should really sleeep more often. I'll sleep when I'm dead etcI talk too much & should listen more, but I'm trying.Most women appear to be born Wise. Most men are drip fed Wisdom during the course of a lifetime "Chinese Water Torture" style.Laughter, nature & friends really are the best medicine...ditch that Prozac before it's too late!"Experience" is a word older people use to describe the act of making lot's of mistakes & actually learning from them, occasionally.People who flick thier ciggy ends out of car windows or onto the pavement/sidewalk/kerb/path are obviously Agents Of Satan & should be treated accordingly.Ambition is toxic. Well it is to me...Never be first or last, but 2nd place is good (eg. Buzz Aldrin).It is OK to be a sentimental fool (who remembers the cold ones when they're gone?).It is better to give than to receive.Change is good (& you have no choice anyway, so adapt & survive!).The Zoroastrians got a bad deal. They invented God, yet get NONE of the credit.Sometimes seeing is NOT believing.Heaven & Hell are not abstract things.
