First off, my name is Jutah, but it's pronounced You-Ta. From what I understand, the original German spelling is Jutta, and that's basically the German form of the name Judith. Apparently, it means, "Woman of Judea." Pretty cool, huh? Oddly enough, I have a cousin named Judith. I guess one could argue that we have the same name..... I have been told by many people that I resemble, and/or display the same mannerisms as Bette Midler. I hear that alot. Personally, I don't see it, but could there be any bigger compliment? I LOVE HER! My background is primarily based in singing and musical theatre. Some of my recent productions include: Oliver!, Oklahoma, HAIR, Leader of the Pack, Man of La Mancha and A New Brain. I received a 2005 CAT Award Nomination in the following category for my part in A New Brain - Outstanding Performance by a Supporting Actress in a Musical. In addition to stage work, I have also done a little improv, by way of Terry Shane Murder Mysteries, a little film, radio and television. I hope to do more in the future. Most recently, I have been doing some extra work on the sets of Resurrecting the Champ,Scar, Grace and The Straight Edge. Here's some more juicy details about me:I am fluently bilingual. I was in the Canadian Armed Forces for 5 years. During my U.N. Tour in Bosnia, I spent 5 days in Rome. While in Rome I had the amazing opportunity to meet and shake hands with Pope John Paul II.
