RUDE MOOD Are...... Antony Maddock, Voc/Guitar, Darren Hanncock, Bass, Jason Hotton, Drums, Matt Henderson, piano, Organ for the first half of 2009 we will have local legend Charlie Horse taking over on keys whilst Mat is in the states. Charlie plays with Jason in the Led Zep tribute...................Rude Moods aim is to play live, all the SRV and Double Trouble catalog as was recorded for the albums. We are not here to ‘Jam’ these songs as many ‘blues based’ bands can do and could do.......................................... Rude Mood does this in a rough chronological song order with costume changes for each set. Replica Guitars, amps and effects keep the tone true and ‘smattering’ of SRV facts......................................................O nce the hat goes on its… “Walk the walk and Talk the Talk” This is not a just another tribute band, but more a show, transporting you in time. Firstly back to1981-1983, ‘Texas Flood’ and ‘In the Beginning’. The second set brings us to ‘Couldn’t stand the Weather’ 1984 and brings on the keys to round off the set with ‘Soul to Soul’ 1985. The night is completed with piano & Organs with songs from ‘In Step’ 1989, and various live albums.....................................................A ntony has not only perfected the singing, playing and ‘swagger’ but also in the accent used in the song introductions, and the stage antics that SRV was so well known for................................................ It is not unknown to hear Rude Mood has ‘sold out’ a show before the performance date when playing the smaller pub venues................................................... ............................................................ ..........................................................Ot her sites Rude Mood are included…........................ www.tributecity.com........................................ www.davidgreermusic.co.nz.................................. www.bestmusic.co.nz........................................ www.klmc.org.nz Has a profile in the members section on Antony;o)................................................... ............................................................ ........................................................ Rude mood are dedicated to bringing to the current live music scene, the sincerity and honesty that was and is again, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble. Rude Mood… seeing is believing.
