hey people thx for stopping in to check out the tunes! I have been Playing guitar since 87 or so.. I started my first band metalist out of high school and played and toured North America till 94 We had alot of fun playin with such cool bands as Razor Sacrifice D.O.P and alot of other bands who were touring through our scene at the time, We wrote and recorded two demos demolition and emotional disturbance one indie and one one 10 bear records local label in sask We also toured with the U.K. subs for two months through North America which was a fuckin blast... after the demise of Metalist I wrote for a year and formed Pericardium played around changed lineups and Recorded a 5 song demo, which never saw the light of day.. in 95 I traveled to Montreal where i auditioned for Cryptopsy after Steve t left the group..I was imediatly floored by the scene and how much fire they had it inspired the hell out of me..I never got the gig but it was an amazing expierience I will never forget... it wasnt until 97 when I released Anthems of Anger and hit the road again.. toured with some great bands and had a blast till more member changes.. I decided a change was needed and move west to Calgary... I started the search for musicians here and found a killer band which i recorded with.. one song is up here now never released called disfigured with hatred,, hope you like it.. after alot of work i had the chance to move back to regina as my father was very sick and i wanted to spend his last days with him help him and be there for him..i joined into eternity in time for the recording of buried in oblivion it was a great expieriance and travelled for a few years met a ton of great people and had soo much fun ..great players all of them who past through the group and founder Tim and i had alot of fun as well.. i helped him rebuild his band and get it back on its feet so we could tour Europe with Kataklysm we did it and many other tours as well..Maurizio And Kataklysm treated us amazing and to this day we have remained friends.. I met so many wonderful people and people who i hope will come check out the new stuff im writing... I left into eternity in late 05 for my own reasons i dont need to discuss, all I would like to say is I did write for the New I.E disc and Im proud of it, 'Severe emotional distress I wrote with Tim at my studio in Regina, And the lyrics for surrounded by night, first lil bit anyway..I actually wrote those up north when I was working in Inuvik N.W. territories cause it was so damn cold and the northern lights were always out..looked killer..The song the scattering of ashes I wrote in 05, Tim liked it and wanted to call the disc by that name, i think its cool and wish them well, anyways I have posted the song here, this song was a form of therapy for the passing of my father..I wrote it Recorded it and well thats about it..i didnt want to change the name well.. Cause I named it... i hope you all enjoy the song and the rest of the tunes as well..i will be posting more in the future..thats it for now... thx for checking out the page enjoy!! Rob..
